WASP is one of the speakers at Anthropy25, the UK’s largest gathering of future makers

On March 26th, WASP took part as one of the speakers at Anthropy for the Innovation Nursery session “In the presence of the FUTURE: Growing a Revolution!” alongside pioneers in the climate, food, and housing sector.

The event took place at the Eden Project, an extraordinary global garden inside a series of massive geodesic domes located in Cornwall, UK.

Started in 2021, Anthropy is a unique gathering where responsible leaders from all sectors converge, to spark imagination and foster fresh thinking, working to build a vision for the UK that is more positive, sustainable, equitable, and successful.

Earth 3D Printing as a Tool for Sustainable Construction

WASP’s contribution to the discourse revolves around the use of 3D printing in construction with natural and locally sourced materials, and how it can serve as an effective method to benefit both people and the planet. The goal is to provide housing for more people while using materials that have a lower environmental impact.

Since 2012, WASP has been developing this approach, which has gained significant global traction and is now widely recognized as a leading force in the sector, thanks to the creation and commercialization of Crane WASP. This construction 3D printer is designed to work with natural materials, enabling on-site construction using 100% locally sourced resources.
