A series of fully customized façades for the Pacha Nightclub in Ibiza
The Pacha Group, owner of the historic Pacha Ibiza nightclub since 1973, commissioned a one-of-a-kind, large-scale project consisting of the creation of three fully customized 3D-printed façades for the Pacha Ibiza summer season of 2025.
The project was developed by Gola Studio, the official creative and production studio of the Pacha Group, with WASP as the technical partner responsible for the 3D printing of all modules.
Fully Customizable Building Facades
The project consisted in the creation of three different design variants that could be easily switched from one to another for the various events of the 2025 summer season at the nightclub. For this reason, the modules had to be designed to be lightweight and easy to assemble on top of the existing building façade. The project was completed in record time, with hundreds of unique design pieces printed in just two months.
The three parametric facade designs were developed for three major events hosted at the nightclub. The season kicked off in April with the Grand Opening, featuring large white PLA modules characterized by a dynamic wave pattern. This was followed by the Camelphat and Music On entrances, both designed to enhance the visual experience through transparent PET-G modules, creating striking light effects in blue and red tones.
Interchangeable 3D Printed Facade Designs
The pieces were 3D printed by WASP Hub Mantova using both their WASP 3MT HDP and the WASP Extruder HDP XL mounted on a KUKA robot. The largest modules, produced for the nightclub’s Grand Opening, were printed using WASP’s robotic arm solution, CEREBRO, an integration system that enables the use of multiple WASP extruders on robotic arms, achieving larger printing volumes compared to traditional enclosed 3D printing systems.
