After the success of 2018 and 2019, Medaarch – in collaboration with WASP and Lab Mec – is reintroducing ‘Centro per l’Artigianato Digitale‘ for the 2023 edition of Maker Faire Rome.

A 145 square meter space designed as a public lounge to showcase in real time how the connection between Italian craftsmanship, experimentation, and digital technology is contributing to the revitalization of the Made in Italy brand, the promotion of talents, the regeneration of territories, and the creation of an innovation ecosystem.

Throughout the 3-day event, WASP will make its technologies available within this space, dedicated to professional training opportunities for students, startups, companies, and makers. Inside this space, you will find:

• WASP 40100 Production, a system that is introducing a new concept of manufacturing by combining additive technology, customization, and serial production, enabling 24/7 automated production of unique 3D printed objects.
• WASP 3MT HDP, the large-scale pellet 3D printer designed to print objects up to 1 meter in diameter and 1 meter in height, using thermoplastic, technical, and recycled plastic granules.
