Technological revolution at the service of the environment

At Formnext 2022, the main European Additive Manufacturing Fair, WASP presents two lines of 3D printers conceived, designed and developed by two internal vertical teams on LDM and FDM themes: a line for fluid-dense materials and one for polymeric materials.

You can find us at STAND F31 Hall 11.1

Customized serial production and Sustainability

For the 3D printing of fluid-dense materials (LDM) there are 3 novelties: an entire customized serial production line for ceramics, an extraordinary application that changes the vision of production by combining the potential of additive technology, or customization, with the concept of seriality. A continuous feeding system that degasses the ceramic materials avoiding the presence of air bubbles as well as allowing an uninterrupted feeding of the printing line. For those who print cements, geo-polymers and mortars, a sector that is still a niche but which will see great development in the coming years, WASP has patented a new self-cleaning extruder, a real revolution that, for now, only those who print cements can fully understand.

The second line of printers developed in-house by WASP by the team dedicated to the plastic polymer sector (FDM) includes precision 3D printers and a large printing area designed for sets of materials and product sectors.

The range of materials is very wide and WASP research pushes itself to develop multimaterial 3D printers for industrial, energy, artistic, educational and rigid or flexible materials certified for the medical sector in order to create orthopedic busts and orthoses,

The focus on recycled plastic materials is an increasingly advanced strategic point for WASP which strongly believes in sustainability to protect the environment. With printing systems, pneumatic adhesion systems to the printing surface, systems for filtering printing fumes and anti-wrapping extruders that limit the shrinkage of plastic materials, we are talking about a technological revolution at the service of the environment.

60100 HDP, the new large pellet 3D printer

The latest addition to WASP is the 60100 HDP 3D printer, a concept of a printer with a liquid-cooled pellet extruder capable of extruding up to the peek in large dimensions, reducing the cost of printing material by 10 times, paving the way for new applications in the industrial field. .
