Auto-calibration on DELTA WASP 3MT INDUSTRIAL 4.0

auto-calibration is an important process to ensure accurate 3D printing on your Delta WASP 3MT Industrial 4.0 printer. Follow these steps carefully to perform auto-calibration:

TIP: It is recommended to start auto-calibration when both the print bed and the extruder are already heated to the desired print temperatures.

POSITIONING OF CONTACT NOZZLE:

  • Make sure the printer is turned off.
  • Carefully position the nozzle so that it is in contact with the print bed.

LOOSEN THE CALIBRATION SENSOR SCREW:

  • Find the screw that tightens the calibration sensor and loosen it so that the sensor can rest freely on the build bed by gravity.

TIGHTEN THE CALIBRATION SENSOR SCREW:

  • Once the sensor is properly placed on the build bed, tighten the calibration sensor screw to secure it in place.

TURNING ON THE PRINTER:

  • Turn on the Delta WASP 3MT Industrial 4.0 printer.

WAITING FOR THE “AUTOCALIB ENABLED” SIGN:

  • Now wait for “AUTOCALIB ENABLED” to appear on the printer’s display. This indicates that auto-calibration has been enabled.

STARTING SELF-CALIBRATION:

  • As soon as you see “AUTOCALIB ENABLED”, you can start the auto-calibration process. To do this, select the “PRINT” option and then “AUTOCALIB” from the printer’s menu.

WAITING FOR THE AUTO-CALIBRATION PROCEDURE:

  • The auto-calibration procedure will begin and last a few minutes. Make sure the extruder is heated during this step.

RAISE AND LOCK THE CALIBRATION SENSOR:

  • Once the auto-calibration has been successfully completed, raise the calibration sensor and lock it in the desired position.
