The WDC.E dryer is based on the use of a rotating drum impregnated with silica gel, which rotation allows working with very constant dew point values throughout the work cycle.
Thanks to the special air circuitry, recovers most of the heat produced, reducing energy consumption by up to 30% compared to traditional dehumidification systems and allowing a working temperature range from 70 to 150 °C without the need for cooling water.

What are the consequences of humid pellets?
Using humid pellets can lead to the following defects*:
- Impossibility to use the best extrusion temperatures due to unusual behaviour
- Low mechanical strength caused by under-extrusions or poor adhesion between layers
- Poor aesthetic finish due to the presence of numerous bubbles or imperfections
- Risk of the material getting stuck inside the power cable or duct leading to the screw due to the presence of water vapour condensation
- Waste of time and money due to the likelihood of failed prints (especially with delicate and expensive materials)
