Warranty and Assistance Policy WASP


All 3D-printers built by WASP S.r.l. are covered by 24 months legal Warranty for private clients and 12 months for Companies/Societies with regular VAT number for lack of conformity, pursuant to Legislative Decree no. 206/2005 (Consumer Code).
If during the period of Warranty validity, defective functioning or faulty parts of the machine ( the ones listed in the Warranty document) occur, WASP S.r.l., after the due examination,  will provide to repair or replace the defective parts. All defective parts under Warranty, are repaired or replaced by WASP S.r.l. free of charge.
Transport and /or shipping costs are always borne by the Customer, as well as the outward and return travel costs related to the intervention of the WASP technicians, at the Customer's site. However WASP S.r.l. will evaluate the charge case by case.
Labor costs related to the intervention of the WASP technicians at the Customer's premises for removing defects under warranty, except in cases where the nature of the defect is such that it can easily be removed on site by the Customer, are bore by WASP  S.r.l..
To take advantage of the Assistance, the Customer must keep the invoice (or Delivery Note) received together with the purchased goods.
If, following intervention by our Technical Service, the WASP technicians finds no lack of conformity pursuant to Legislative Decree no. 206/2005 (Consumer Code), the Customer will be charged for any diagnosis and verification costs, in addition to the restoration if requested by the Assistance, as well as the transport costs if incurred by WASP S.r.l.. In case of transport troubles of the machines, where the technician’s intervention is required, any warranties are to be considered EXW MASSA LOMBARDA.
Attention: the packaging should be the original one, penalty forfeiture of the Warranty


Any spare parts that may be faulty due to the following point, are not covered by the Warranty:

  • Tampering (the opening of a product is tantamount to tampering);
  • In the event of arrears or other contractual breaches;
  • Improper use of the printer;
  • Failure to comply with standards and daily maintenance intervention;
  • If the printer is sent back to WASP S.r.l. inside a different packaging from the one provided at the time of purchase;
  • Use of non-original spare parts not directly supplied by WASP S.r.l.;
  • Extraordinary interventions not carried out by personnel not sent by WASP S.r.l.;
  • Any variation and / or non-observance of what is indicated in the technical drawings and in the user manual entails the forfeiture of technical and functional guarantees, and releases WASP S.r.l. from any responsibility.

All parts subject to wear or in contact with consumables are subject to 60 days- Warranty:

  • hot-end group ( extruders);
  • extruder cores (only  FDM technology);
  • nozzle;
  • printing bed;
  • pusher group (filament driver);
  • fans;
  • feeding pipe *;
  • rotor pump system *;
  • pressure sensor *.

* only for Delta WASP 3MT CONCRETE

WASP S.r.l. reserves the right to evaluate the warranty repair on a case-by-case basis and if not, it will send the customer a quote before proceeding. In no case WASP S.r.l. can be held responsible for any delays, failures contractual or other commitments made by the Customer towards third parties.
In no case WASP S.r.l. can be held responsible for direct or consequential damages including but not limited to loss of use, loss of profits or revenue.
All printing materials supplied by WASP S.r.l. together with the machines, are excluded from the Warranty.
For any dispute, the court of Ravenna is competent. The producer declines every responsibility on the parts
produced with this machinery.
In no cases WASP S.r.l. can be held responsible of any delay, breaches of contracts or for other commitments
of Client with towards third parties.
In no cases WASP S.r.l. is responsible for direct or consequential damages included but not limited to loss of use, profits or income.


WASP S.r.l. assumes no responsibility for any lack of production, delays in deliveries or other commitments accepted by the customer to third parties derived from using, loss of use or malfunctioning of the printer. Due to the continuous technological developments, the declared technical characteristics of the 3D printers from WASP S.r.l. can change at any time and without notice.

Any technical updates or changes made to new printers will not be performed under Warranty on previously manufactured printers. On the contrary on the replaced parts please consider what stated in the section “Warranty”.

WASP S.r.l. does not guarantee technical assistance answers for problems arising from lack of technical knowledge in the use of the 3d-printer, in particular:

  • problems arising from the user’s pc;
  • problems arising from the print parameters;
  • problems arising from special materials supplied but not produced by WASP S.r.l. (ex. SDcard, USB sticks);
  • problems arising from incorrect calibration machine;
  • problems arising from incorrect machine maintenance (e.g. Cleaning);
  • problems arising from damaged 3d files or not suitable for rapid prototyping;
  • issues derived from the incorrect installation or using of 3d modeling software and slicing

If you have these types of problems we will recommend you to read the user’s manual, technical documentation and/or attendance in a course of appropriate level.
The correct procedure to follow in the case of technical problems is:
1. Check in the use and maintenance manual;
2. Check in the FAQ section on the website www.3dwasp.com;
3. Contact technical support:
a) of the dealer from whom the machine was purchased;
b) of WASP S.r.l. if the machine was purchased directly or through e-commerce from WASP S.r.l., by filling in the form in the "Support" section, providing all the information requested.
WASP S.r.l. reply within 3 working days
4. If the printer is to be returned for repair, the technical support will provide all the necessary information by e-mail.

Any product that returns must be accompanied by the Delivery Note. Upon receipt of the printer or other product, the WASP technicians will evaluate whether the problem derives from a malfunction, in this case the repair will be carried out under Warranty and free of charge if from improper use or from the the use of materials not recommended by WASP S.r.l., we will provide a quote for request consent to repair.
For out-of-warranty 3d- printers, an inspection or diagnostic fee may be required.
